Will Soap Shower Fit My Shower?

Soap Shower fits almost any hose-connected shower, including electric, mixer, thermostatic, power, digital and bath mixer showers.

Check the three simple requirements below

  • 1. Your shower has a hose

    Soap Shower connects between the shower outlet and the existing flexible shower hose.

    Suitable: Handheld and hose-connected showers
    Not suitable: Fixed overhead showers with no hose

  • 2. The outlet points downwards

    Almost all shower hose outlets point downwards, so this is unlikely to be a problem. Soap Shower needs to hang vertically beneath the connection.

    Suitable: Downward-facing hose outlet
    Not suitable: Horizontal or upward-facing outlet

  • 3. There is 150mm of free space below

    Soap Shower hangs beneath the outlet, so it needs at least 15cm (6 inches) of free space without shelves, rails, taps or other obstructions.

If your shower meets all three conditions, Soap Shower should fit.

Compatible shower types

  • Mixer, thermostatic, power and digital showers

    These showers usually connect to a flexible hose through a downward-facing wall outlet or shower control. If the hose connection points downwards, Soap Shower should fit.

  • Electric showers

    Most electric showers have a flexible hose connection pointing downwards from the underside of the unit, making them suitable for Soap Shower.

  • Bath mixer showers

    Soap Shower fits bath mixer showers when the hose connection points downwards. Some bath mixer taps have an upward-facing connection and are therefore not suitable.

The type or brand of shower does not usually matter. Shower hose threads are standard. What matters is that the hose connection points downwards and has enough clear space beneath it.

Check the space below your shower outlet

Soap Shower hangs beneath the point where your shower hose connects. Allow at least 15cm of clear vertical space below the outlet so the unit does not clash with taps, shelves, rails or other fittings.
