Soap Shower was created to make showering simpler, less cluttered and more convenient—without bottles getting in the way.

Showering has changed very little. We still pick up bottles, open lids with wet hands, squeeze out too much and leave shelves crowded with containers.

We believed there had to be a simpler way: add your favourite shower gel once, then control the soap directly from the shower whenever you need it.

Designed by a lifelong product inventor

Soap Shower was created by British product designer and inventor Alan Somerfield.

Alan has spent more than 35 years developing practical products, with more than 16 patented inventions brought to market. His previous work includes the Stoplock steering-wheel lock, which became one of the UK’s best-known vehicle security products.

The original idea for delivering personal-care products through shower water began during Alan’s time working in the shower industry. Years later, he returned to the idea and developed it into the simple product you see today.

A simple idea that took serious engineering

Soap Shower may look simple, but creating consistent soap flow across different showers, water pressures and shower gels required extensive development and testing.

The result is a patented mixing system that connects directly to most hose-connected showers, works with your preferred shower gel and lets you switch between soap and clean water using one control.
